Happy Sunday, ambient music lovers! It’s a cold and rainy day around here. It put me in the mood for something darker and a bit different. I haven’t done much with drums and percussion lately, so I decided to feature an odd beat in today’s jam. It’s a neat experiment, I think. Grab some headphones and see what you think.
Patch Notes
The Black Sequencer is driving the QD Drum module and feeding a clock to Dice. The Dice module in turn provides pitch CV and a gate to Rings for some occasional accent notes, going through the Popple filter. The droning sounds are from the E340 running through the Fold6. Chaos and Entropy modulate stuff. The drums go through Mimeophon for some delay and everything goes through FX Aid for reverb.
