Happy Sunday! It’s kind of late in the day for me to be posting. I had a lot of things to get done this weekend before the weather turns bad. We may have some ice or snow in the Austin area tomorrow, which means the grocery stores are picked clean and people have enough supplies for weeks, in preparation for a weather event that will pass in a couple of days. Yeah, what little we get of severe winter weather in this part of Texas is enough to cause major freakout. Folks around here still well remember the big winter storm we had 3 years ago when the Texas power grid tanked and left a lot of us without power and water for the better part of a week.
I didn’t have much time the past week to play on the synths and I’ll be honest - this is a quick and dirty composition that I put together hurriedly today. While not my best effort, I liked it and hope you do too. Grab your headphones and check it out.
Patch Notes
Pretty simple patch really. The Black Sequencer runs the clock, gate, and pitch. Braids Pluk goes through Morphagene for some mangling and Mimeophon for a bit of delay, then separately into FX Aid for Reverb. Dice and Chaos do some modulating of Morphagene and Braids, respectively.
