Happy Sunday y’all. I’m so happy it’s October 1st! This is my favorite month of the year. The weather is finally cooling down and we’re heading into the holiday seasons, starting with Halloween! I need to work on my spooky vibe for this time of year.
There is a bit of eeriness or mystery to today’s recording. Lots of percussive bits washed into waves of reverb that stretch them out in interesting ways. The big reverb gives kind of a cavernous feel, hence the Midjourney image for this post.
Patch Notes
Pam’s is clocking Dice. The clock is jittery through Dice, which provides gates and pitch CV to Plaits and Rings. Missed Opportunities adds more randomness to the gates. Rings is the main voice, with occasional percussive hits from Plaits. Octasource and Chaos provide modulation to Dice and Rings. The voices to through Popple filter before passing through Mimeophon for modulated delay and FX Aid for reverb (Black Hole, if I remember correctly.)
